Low tide

Our Rainy Day in River City ended with a real color show last night.  Although not as brilliant as Roger's Rainbow July 11th it was still quite a sight.

Spudboater left in late morning and arrived home safe in Boise a few hours later.  She then went on a blog-a-thon and posted a flurry of dissertations about her trip.  August 1st will forever be noted as Spudboater's most prolific blogging day to date.  It was great having Spudboater here for her visit.  She adds a special spark to each day.  THANKS, Marti B.

We are at a low ebb tide of energy.  I picked up either a summer cold or a kick anatomy allergy Sunday.  I made the mistake of taking some antihistamines Sunday night.  They made me so tired yesterday I had to take a two hour nap in the middle of the day.  How rare & weird is that?  We are both in R&R mode (R&R=Rest & Recharge).

One really cool thing happened yesterday.  Susun and Dina were asked to be the judges of all of the city's flower gardens.  Each year, the city puts on a little party for the volunteers who do the gardens.  Someone goes around and judges the gardens and the city gives out plaques and so forth.  The duo will be doing that on Thursday.

Not much else to report--we're going with the tidal flow here, resting and recharging as best we can.

Have a great day & Many Cheers, jp
