The Fireline Refresher was great today. To tell the truth, I rather dreaded sitting for four hours in a classroom. Well, much to my surprise, it was great and myself and the almost 50 other people really weren't in any hurry to leave. In fact, the attendees ran the session 15 minutes overtime with their questions and comments. The instructor was superb. The material was awesome. It's the fastest four hours I've experienced in a long time. Also, some of the most productive four hours, too. We got quite the training on deployment of the personal fire shelter. I'm fired up for fire camp now!
