Holy Smokes!

WOW--Big News!  While I was messing with this blog after the last post, something caught my eye--an ad on the right hand side of a page.  I look and did a double take.  It's some service that will print your blog in freaking book format!  No kidding.  It's called BlogsPrint.  Well, as you can imagine, I dropped everything I was doing and hot-footed my way into their website and added a cover photos and a few words of introduction and printed the danged thing in PDF format.  Then I opened an account, paid them $7.95 on the charge card and--BAM--as Emeril would say, I got a 90-page PDF book delivered to my inbox faster than Superman speeding over Manhattan!  It is a 6 meg file so it's not to be taken lightly.  What's the book about?  Well, some of your loyal readers know I doted on a blog a year ago called "The Great Winter 2008-2009.  It ran for about six months as I recall and had well over 100 posts.  It was a VERY popular blog and had a LOT of steady repeat traffic.  Since then, several friends has complimented the blog and asked if I would every continue to do that sort of thing again.  It takes a lot of time and attention and thought so I haven't really equaled last year's performance.  Meanwhile, if you know much about blogs, it's a real chore to attempt to print out your blog.  Well, actually, it's not a chore, it's a downright MESS!  I would have loved to print out that blog but would never attempt something so complicated and messy.  Enter Blogs2Print.  WOW, for a mere eight bucks and a fwe clicks, BAM--there it is--in chronological order no less.  AMAZING!

OK--here's the deal--I uploaded the six meg file to a website and renamed it.  Click here to get the 6 meg file.  Today at work I will try to reduce the file size.  I think I can do it without sacrificing readable quality.
This is the dawn of a new era!

Well, this whole deal threw me for a loop this morning.  I am trying to get to work by 8 am but the book deal has made me run late.  I even called Brad W. on the phone and babbled on like a maniac about it.  Good thing I came back to update this post as I wouldn't have noticed I forgot to include the link above.  Opps!
Well, I have to go to my Day Job.  More later today.
